‘Pay on Delivery’ (POD) includes Cash on Delivery (COD) as well as additional digital payment facilities via Third Party Gateway.

Pay on Delivery is available as a payment method for all items that are Fulfilled by Raavna, Prime Eligible and some seller fulfilled items.
Pay on Delivery orders can be paid using Cash or other digital payment methods using the Raavna Pay option. Please check with the delivery associate if you can pay by using Raavna SMS link. In this payment method, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and Rupay debit and credit cards from all banks. We also provide the option to pay via UPI.
How to pay using Raavna link:
- Ask your delivery agent for Pay link SMS on your smartphone which has internet connectivity
- Click on the link in SMS and initiate payment
- Select your payment method and complete payment using your credentials
- Post successful payment, you will get a confirmation message.
Pay on Delivery cannot be used in conjunction with the Raavna balance as a payment mode. If you deselect Raavna balance as a payment mode on the Raavna.store payment page, Pay on Delivery may become available as a payment mode, provided the item and delivery pin code are eligible.
We only collect the amount printed on the invoice.
Note:
- ‘Pay on Delivery’ is not yet available for all pin codes.
- ‘Pay on Delivery’ will not be available if your order value exceeds Rs. 1,000.
- ‘Pay on Delivery’ will only be available for some items under Lightning Deals.
- ‘Pay on Delivery’ is currently not available for Some category.
- Pay on Delivery will not be available for orders which include items sold by Worldwide Store.
- For precious jewellery, all orders placed using Pay on Delivery as payment method will be verified through a call before shipment.
- If you’re using Pay on Delivery as a payment method and your mobile number is not verified on Raavna, you will be asked to enter a One-Time password in order to complete your order. This One- Time password will be sent to your registered mobile number.
- Prime customers will be ineligible for No-rush shipping cashback if they choose to pay for the order using ‘Pay on Delivery’. For more information, go to About No-Rush Shipping Program.
What is a ‘Containment Zone’ and how are we maintaining social distancing norms while accepting Pay on Delivery
Local health authorities are classifying Containment Zones (buildings, locality within a pincode) with high risk of COVID-19 transmission. If your delivery address falls within a “Containment Zone”, either while placing the order or when the order is in transit, we will only accept payment via SMS Pay Link. This will be triggered to your registered mobile by the delivery agent while at your doorstep. Cash will not be accepted.
In case you are unable to pay using SMS Pay Link, we will call you by end of the day to check if you are willing to try again the next day to pay via SMS Pay Link. If not, we will mark the order ‘Undelivered’.
Here are social distancing guidelines to be followed at doorstep:
- On arrival, the Delivery Associate (DA) will place package/delivery on the floor in front of your door.
- The DA will ring bell or knock on door and step back a minimum of two (2) meters / 6 feet from the door while waiting for you to open the door.
- In case of SMS Pay Link-based payment, you will receive an SMS to complete the payment transaction electronically. Once payment is successful, the DA will request you to collect the package.
- In case of Cash on Delivery (CoD), you have to place the money on top of the package and step back by two (2) meters/ 6 feet while the DA collects the cash. In case of change to be returned, the DA will place the change on top of package, step back by two (2) meters / 6 feet and request you to collect the change and the package/delivery.
